The Musical Instruction Method opens the door to learning music in a completely new way. It provides a close visual link between the notes on the musical stave and the notes on the keyboard.  Learning is fun and rewarding leading to greater engagement through practice and an understanding of how music on staves relates to a player’s instrument of choice.

MiM enables performers to play a musical instrument without prior knowledge of musical notation, building confidence, excitement, and involvement from the start. As they progress, musical notation is introduced naturally. Once inspired by their ability to play several tunes, players can expand their skills further through traditional tuition and practice.

MiM is intended to ‘open the door’ to reading music.  It is achieved in a way that has not been considered before.  It provides a visual link between the notes on the stave and the notes on the keyboard.

It will enable children and others to learn the notes on the stave and on the keyboard, along with the scales in different major and minor keys.

A fresh look based on the way people learn.  MiM could be the de-facto way of introducing music to students as it establishes the reward and encouragement of being able to play an instrument whilst gradually learning musical notation thus encouraging and rewarding the student from the very beginning of their musical journey
