The App is FREE to download and comes with two free songs to practice with. The French song, Frère Jacques and Hush Little Baby also known as Mocking Bird. These are provided in both Stage One and Stage Two versions.
The complete set of songs have been chosen to provide the player with access to the available keys with sharps and flats and range in complexity and length.
Stage One
Stage one is shown in the Musical Instruction Method presentation. The musical notes are written above the keyboard allowing the player to follow the notes and play the song.
It is important that although the beats of the note are shown on the songs, the player should play at their own pace and slowly build up their confidence and then speed up after practising.
The player presses the appropriate matching key to hear the note played. A correct note will turn green and then fade and disappear. A wrong note will turn red and the player can either play the correct note and continue or they are presented with a pop up box which asks whether they would like to restart the song.
After playing the song through to the end, the App returns to the beginning of the song. The player can play again or go back to the song menu and choose another song or go on to stage two.
Stage Two
The player can go to stage two once they are comfortable with playing a song or songs. Stage Two is presented showing musical notation. The music stave is presented along with the notes matching the keyboard below. The player can look up in the glossary the meaning of each note if necessary. A full glossary of musical terms in included with the App for reference.

The App comes with two songs in the Free Download version. Further songs or the entire collection can be purchased from within the App. Purchased songs are delivered in both Stage One and Two versions.
The price of the songs will depend on what country you are in and the conversion rates from GBP as well as any local taxes.

Further Study
This App allows players to play songs in minutes following the Stage One and Stage Two modules. It is designed to get players started playing and more importantly enjoying music and it is recommended that once they are comfortable with playing, should they wish to progress, a suitable tutor should be found to take their interest further.
